Got tagged

So the first tag that I recieved was from Arcalee and sadly I have no one to tag but will still play along I have to tell you about 10 favorites of mine that start with the letter she picked. For me I got D so here is my list.

1. Darts

2. Dollars - yes I love money

3. Dutch Peppermints

4. DVR - Sometimes I wonder what we ever did without them.

5. Dancing

6. Dressing Up

7. Details

8. Diamonds

9. Digital Camera

10. Dessert

The second tag/email I thought I would post here It's sort of fun you take the 5th picture in the 5th folder you have and tell everyone about it. My picture is of my dear friend Adam aka Sunshine or My Boyfiend - It's okay Matt knows all about it. This picture was taken in Omaha at the annual Hodges Dart Tournament he was goofing off downstairs and I snapped this picture of him.

For this challenge I tag Arcalee, Misty, Amy, and Lori. Hope you all have a great weekend. ;)

What a week

So I have been totally self involved this past week. I spent a couple days home sick then Friday afternoon I went to the ER to get my leg looked at. A few sheets (14) of sheetrock fell on me and figured I better be safe than sorry. So I have gimped around for a couple days and still have a bum knee but for the most part I am doing okay. I should have some record sized bruises to show soon. They checked out the whole leg and I now now why my mom always said wear clean underware. Because you never know when your going to have to drop your pants and be in your skivies. I only wish I had been told to always shave my legs, how embarrasing! Anywho I haven't done well with ANY of my resolutions except this blog which I love doing. I am hoping to put together a video sometime. Cross your fingers and I hope to get some artwork up soon.

That didn't work

I had this great idea that I would do the Project 365 and I failed miserably. The project entails taking pictures everyday at least one that way you can stick it in a page protector with the other pictures from the whole week and you have an album about the whole year. While I thought this would be fun to document my year I didn't get to far before I fell on my face. Alas I will do better and I will get the first week done. My nieces birthday party is tonight and I plan to get some pictures of that event I need to start taking more pictures because a friend asked me to take pictures of her wedding. AHHH this scares me to death.

To be in good health

So I got together with my girlfriends Lori and Brenda this weekend to scrapbook and didn't really accomplish a whole lot but more than I usually get done. I think I completed 7 of the kits that we do. Anywho we cut it short for various reasons but one was so I could watch my niece since my sister in law was taking my brother and nephew to the hospital since they were sickly. She was just as good as gold. I went up to help Matt with the tournament and there were TONs of people. We had 18 teams I was thrilled to help out and keep it running smoothly. Sunday evening wasn't as great as Saturday night neither Matt nor I felt very good and it remained that way for a couple days. Both households are feeling much better this week and hope to remain that way.

So here is a little something that I created at the last retreat I was at I haven't worked on anything new lately. But thought I would give you a little something to look forward to in the future. This was fun to make out of of a true-fit folio and I loved how it turned out.

Starting with Resolutions

So like every other year I have made my resolutions and really hope that I can stick to them. Some will be harder than others. I figured this year I would make lots of them so if I can do even one of the things on the list I won't feel like a failure. So here goes lets put them into writing.

1. Make more scrapbook layouts . . . . with pictures. I have a tendency to make pages and NEVER get pictures on them. Part of this is dues to number #2
2. Take more pictures I really want to take at least one picture a day, so I can make a project similar to the Project 365.
3. Purge the entire house over the course of the year. We have a cute little house that needs painting but we have SOOOO much stuff crammed in it you would never know how cute the house it.
4. Paint the outside of the house.
5. Quite biting my nails.
6. Lose weight . . at the risk of falling flat on my face I won't tell you how much I intend to lose.
7. Make myself truely happy.
8. Start a blog and keep up with it. Twice a month will be considered keeping up.

So there it is I have posted all resolutions so you can all attempt to keep me on track. I already have a great start on number 8 with one posting done for January.
